To support the Coffman mission, a commitment to excellence
by providing academic experiences, and our district mission
in which we believe
that all students can and must learn at high levels of achievement,
the Coffman library instructs students to:
“…
Use skills, resources and tools to inquire, think critically, and gain
knowledge.”
“
Draw conclusions, make informed decisions, apply knowledge to new situations,
and create new knowledge.”
“
Share knowledge and participate ethically and productively as members
of our democratic society.”
“
Pursue personal and aesthetic growth.”

The library staff
- Mrs. Grote, Mrs. Costello, and Mrs. Hitsman - provide instruction and
assistance to meet these goals from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday
through Friday.
The library web page, available 24/7 at http://coffman.dublin.k12.oh.us/library/lib_med.php provides
reference, magazine, newspaper, and subject-specific databases
to meet students’ needs for homework, long term projects, and personal
interests. We encourage students to make the Coffman Library web page
their first choice
for an information search through authoritative resources. Usernames
and passwords for these databases are available at the front desk of
the library.
Our print, audiotape, videotape, and DVD collections also
support and enhance the Coffman curriculum. The loan periods
for these items are:
Books – 3 weeks Audiotapes – 3 weeks Magazines – 3 weeks
Videotapes and DVDs – 1 week
The Coffman library staff also provides Reader’s Advisory to encourage
reading for learning and personal growth. We look forward to helping Coffman
students become lifelong learners.
