Mrs. Karen M. Brothers, wife and mother of 2 received her Bachelors Degree in Education from The Ohio State University, her Masters of Arts from The Ohio State University in Policy and Leadership/Curriculum and Instruction, and a Masters of Science from the University of Dayton in Guidance and Counseling. Mrs. Brothers came to the Dublin School District in 1987 as a teacher and team leader at Sells Middle School. Over the years she coached many middle school sports as well as Varsity volleyball at Dublin Coffman High school. Karen taught at Grizzell Middle school from 1994-1999 and returned to Sells in the fall of 1999 as a guidance counselor.
Mrs. Brothers enjoys personal and social counseling, academic advising and supporting students with study skills and organization as well as college and career counseling. She is interested in studying and researching, ADHD, Aspergers, Autism, PDD, Sensory Integration and other neurological disorders. She is also very interested in learning styles. Mrs. Brothers is energetic and enjoys working with adolescent students and their parents.
